Louis was best man at his best friends wedding the night beforre he passed away. This picture was taken there. It was wonderful to see him happy that night. Cheryl and the family did such a wonderful job to see that he was comfortable and enjoyed his last summer on earth. Before he joined Danae, he was able to spend the time with his family and friends, doing a lot of the things that he had always wanted to do.
Louis was able to help with all his final affairs and chose this poem for his acknowledgement card.
Louis had an Ankh tattoo...The Ankh was, for the ancient Egyptians, the symbol (the actual Hieroglyphic sign) of life but it is an enduring icon that remains with us even today as a Christian cross. It is one of the most potent symbols represented in Egyptian art, often forming a part of decorative motifs.
